An Off Day?

SRH vs CSK:  8/5/2013

Was it an off day occurring naturally for SRH bowling, or scripted to be so? See the recordings and you would know. SRH won the toss and decided to field first. The best bowling side of the tournament so far bowled most pathetically to enable CSK post a mammoth 223, taking necessary care of the two sessions such that in both the runs scored were to be more than those on offer at any stage. In their last batting outing, the same side had folded for 79 while chasing a moderate 139.

The form of the two teams changed miraculously over a couple of days. A result of staged cricket, as mentioned in the book 'Inside the Boundary Line.'

While chasing SRH lost Shikhar Dhawan early through a self-inflicted run out and were never in the game. The punters who must have bet against CSK to start with considering their batting form in last match, never got a chance to cover their losses in a through and through one sided contest.
